so, I bought some CDs online a couple weeks back, and I am SO happy with them, so I thought I'd share the love.

First, the Warped Tour 2008 Compilation. Ticket priced were like spliced in half since I checked last, and I'm so very tempted to go. And since both Pete Wentz and Andy Hurley's clothing lines will be there...oh GAWD. I'd definitely be buying some clothes!

Second, Pinkerton. How in the world was it Weezer's worst commercial album? 'Tis wonderful!

Thirdly, Deja Entendu by Brand New. Oh goodness, if you're a punk fan, or even just a rock fan, PLEASE check this band out. The rock is rockin' and the lyrics are lyricin'. I've listened to about half the CD but I already can tell it's going up there on my all time favorite albums.

Today has been a very good day. I tanned outside, I looked at jewelry, I ate terrible-for-me ice cream, I went to HEB (worship!), I got a pedicure, and I had some Starbucks coffee today. And lots of kick ass new music. Does life get any better? No, not really. And I was really happy until I facebooked it up and realized how sad my social life is. I have friends, but they aren't very near. And I just have to wonder, if I did live up there, would they even want to see me?

Kind of a depressing thought for a sunny day.

I'm being so lazy today; it's not even funny. I want to freaking write, man, but I can't bring myself to care enough. But blog posts count as writing, right?

I used to be such a deep thinker. I don't know if I cared more about things, I was just...bored? And not satisfied with boredom? So I analyzed things? Whereas now I am perfectly content to do nothing all day. What am I supposed to do when my friends live 1000 miles away?

I'd like to meet new people and make new friends. That was why I enjoyed my new student orientation at college; it made me all anxious to become social. But college won't be here for another couple months, and until then? Well, I should be writing...

I really hope I'm a good teacher. I worry sometimes. But that's an even further ways away. Oh poo, maybe I should just read. Yeah, some nice mind-pilates.

I'm listening to Weezer, which reminds me that I need to check on my order from Target. And I need to go find some guitar tabs online and teach myself. And, well, besides the endless graduation thank you's, that's probably all I'll do today.

Did you know you can get green tea at Starbucks for like 2 bucks? It's delicious. Chai is still my fave, though. Well, besides coffee.

Last Thursday, I met a boy who got hit in the face with a chainsaw. I think we're going to be lifelong friends.

I'm probably not getting much of a job this summer. No money spending for me. No A/C in my car. Must conserve funds.

I need to get out of bed.

I think today was a good day. I was in a good mood a lot of the time. I did enjoyable things. Nice things were given to me. Job prospects seemed a little more hopeful today. As long as I don't think about the build up of responsibilities that I've been catiously avoiding, I'm happy. The thing about that pile is that 1) it makes me feel like a terrible person and 2) I really don't want to do them. And so the internal struggle wages on.
